I played 5 different WNBA players as I am close to a payer and have gone to their practices. I was 48, cut 2x's from High school team. I easily beat all 5.. This guy was not trying hard.

Keep in mind, the WNBA requires draftees to be 22 which means they most likely graduated… many from great schools that gets them great long term career options with higher pay than top WNBA players. The talent pool would increase and ultimately improve the game. It is NOT unusual for companies to run at a loss while they follow a path to credibility. You need money to make money. Look at this from that business perspective.

When I was in hs, me and some of my friends would scrimmage against the girls travel team. They had a girl on there that was 6'4, McDonalds all american nominee, and she absolutely dominated womens basketball in our area. And I OBLITERATED her when it came to 1 on 1 play lol. It would make her so mad. It was good competition for her. For me not so much. I was a 6'3 "center" that never won a single award through high school.
